BIGSOUND is a melting pot of many diverse elements and characters. Musical acts of all genres, unique perspectives of speakers, technology showcases and blasts of artwork come together throughout the Fortitude Valley precinct to create the BIGSOUND Festival. Using this eclectic festival space as inspiration, a cohesive artwork has been created of disparate images. Many hands will work together to create the Mix & Match paste ups designed by Niqui Toldi and Sam Mckenzie, using collage and paste, a paper doll aesthetic and assemblage is used to create unique characters, with final paint flourishes added by hand.
