Terry McBride is a founder and the CEO of the Nettwerk Music Group, a conglomerate encompassing a label, management, publishing and design. He's been a key part of huge success stories - from Coldplay to Avril Lavigne - and continues to oversee companies that represent some of the most credible popular artists in modern music. Many of them Australian artists who have bigger audiences in territories outside of their home country, thanks to communities they have formed and fostered with artists around the world.
In his keynote address at BIGSOUND, McBride will look at the continued growth of streaming and how it can be a boon for artists, removing geographical barriers and ensuring communities can germinate and grow, no matter how far apart its artists live.
