Katalyst is a Brisbane based fashion and visual design label that operates on the core values of slow consumption, utility and transparency. Focusing on experimental textiles and tailoring; organic lines are framed by clean construction. Designer Kate also practises these values through digitally hand drawn illustrations, creating prints and printed fashion products. Her work ranges from small runs of commercial garments to conceptual one off fashion pieces and illustrations. Most Katalyst products are made personally by Kate in her Brisbane studio.
The brand’s AW19 range consists of several unisex pieces, focusing on delivering utility, classic silhouettes and quality garments to a wider audience. Kate also welcomes custom orders and collaborations. This collection will be available to purchase alongside reduced older products and Bigsound exclusive items.
