Crowbar was established in 2012 as a venue and dive bar that became a home for punk, hardcore, rock and metal in Brisbane.
After 7 years, Crowbar has hosted huge names like The Melvins, Violent Soho, Thy Art Is Murder, WAAX and thousands of emerging local, national and international artists. In 2015, they expanded from their basement dive bar into a diverse multi-level live entertainment venue with the development of Crowbar Black, a street level social bar. Not stopping there, 2017 birthed Crowbar Church, a multi-purpose gallery & functions space, and 2018 saw the move south to take over The Bald Faced Stag to open Crowbar Sydney.Website: www.crowbarbris.com
