VOTIA play the traditional music of Reunion Island, the Maloya, in its most powerful and fastest expression, which is that of the east of the island. Africa and India are close vocal and percussion influences. Here, all the percussionists are also singers, and the polyphonic arrangements serve the writing and the voice.
