Inuk Mohawk from The Arctic Region of Canada. The other half of Multi Award Winning Twin Flames. Jaaji along with Wife Chelsey June have journeyed internationally, playing over 900 shows in the last five years. He is an advocate of living healthy and sobriety, along with other social awareness causes such as the MMIWG and also anti-suicide campaigns. Jaaji also won Best Indigenous Language Album at the Indigenous Music Awards in 2015 for his debut album, not to mention two Canadian Folk Music Awards back to back, for Indigenous Songwriters of the Year in 2016 and 2017. Recently Twin Flames released a single titled 'Human' which was commissioned by the Folk Alliance International in partnership with UNESCO, as Artists in Residence for the year of Indigenous Languages. Jaaji and Chelsey June hope to bring awareness about realities of their people one song at a time.
