Nick started out promoting club nights in his hometown of Liverpool in 2002, before being taken on by SJM concerts, starting off as their receptionist. He worked up to repping shows and assisting promoters. Eventually Nick started promoting tours nationally working with the likes of the XX, Two Door Cinema Club, The Horrors and White Denim. In 2010 Nick was brought in to Primary Talent International to work under Matt Bates, assisting him with his artists while building his own roster, which now includes alt-J, Middle Kids, Yeasayer, Nilüfer Yanya and Hinds.
