Older sister to popular solo artist Tiki Taane, Ninakaye has managed him, his companies and record label since 2007. She is a mentor for the NZ Music Manager’s Forum and a founding member of the Māori Music Managers Development Initiative. A proud graduate of a Maori Performing Arts degree, Small Business Management Certificate and various other qualifications, she has an extensive wealth of experience across the Public Health, Event Management, Film, TV and Fitness industries. It is Ninakaye's colourful personal life journey that she credits as her most profound school of knowledge and learning. Drawing on her experiences as a resilient mother and grandmother, as well as a recovered stripper and drug/alcohol addict, she has a huge passion for life, love, people and community wellbeing.
